He was predeceased by: his mother Debra Parkes (Kleingardner); his siblings, Dustin Parkes and Ariel Parkes; and his grandparents, Francis, Evelyn Kleingardner, Marion and Marie Parkes.

He is survived by: his father Jerry Parkes (Alice Parkes); his siblings, Sean, Patrick, Ethan, Nathaniel Parkes and Lisa Parkes; his girlfriend Elizabeth; his girlfriend's children, Damien and Bryden; and also Noah. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was not able to help himself but was always willing to help others and he did so even in death by donating his organs to save someone else's life.
