We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2021, at the age of 61, James A. Backus (Sidney, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Darlene and Valerie; his mother Ida; his sister Darleen; his niece Terri; and his nephew Billy. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, but most of all by his best friend.

Memorial contributions in Jim's memory may be directed to the Maplewood Cemetery.
