He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hetzel and Elizabeth Hetzel; and his siblings, Artie Hetzel, Vinnie Hetzel, Richie Hetzel, Shirley Dilberg and Janet Buzzel.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Hetzel; his daughters, Tiffany Hetzel (Trevor Nelson) and Marissa Hetzel; his grandson Tristan Nelson; and his sisters, Joyce Hetzel, Rosie Burke, Eileen Luebke and Joanne Douglas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
