It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David S. Parsons Sr. (Sidney, New York), who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry H. Parsons and Edith A. Parsons; and his brothers, Robert, Renwick and Bernard Parsons.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Caratelli (Eugene), Brenda Parsons (John), Stephanie Soldinger (Steve), Dave Parsons, Jr., Rick Parsons, Christopher Stillman (Gabrielle), Danny Parsons (Heather), Jillian Parsons and Thomas Parsons; his brother Paul Parsons; his cousins, Bruce Parsons, Joanie Marino-Sobeski (Parsons) and Vicki Bush; his grandchildren, Tyler Parsons and Linkyn LaCotta; and also Faye Parsons. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the NYS Veteran's Home or a charity of one's choice.
