With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David S. Gatje (Sidney, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. George H Gatje and Marion Gatje (Shand); his wife Kathy; and his brother Captain George Carlisle Gatje. He is survived by: his sons, David Bruce Gatje (Teresa) of Texas and Richard Carlisle Gatje (Sheri) of Florida; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Gatje and Laura Garcia; and his friends, Bill, Terri Sherman, Connor Sherman, Brandi Carufe, Molly Sherman and Priscilla Scofield. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ch Landers Funeral Home (21 Main St, Sidney, NY 13838). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Masonville Federated Church (2126 NY-206, Masonville, NY 13804).
