He is survived by: his wife Katrina VanGorder; his children, Kylie VanGorder and Michael VanGorder (Brianna VanGorder); his grandchildren, Carter Bowker, Brailea VanGorder, Maci VanGorder, Easton VanGorder and Emily VanGorder; his brother Bill VanGorder (Gwen); his stepsiblings, Todd Campbell (Chrissy) and Nancy Cobane (Tim); his siblings-in-law, Wayne "Tony" Charles (Nancy), Brian Scofield (Bre), Ericka Rose (Matt) and Tasha Finch (Gordie); and his parents-in-law, Roxy Charles and Wayne Charles (Nancy).
In honoring Darren's memory the family suggests donating to Three Rivers Coonhound and Beagle Club, 725 Sheep Pen Rd, Unadilla, NY to support the preservation of the landscapes he held dear.
