She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Howe and Mildred Howe (Teed); her spouse Gottleib Ackeret; her daughter Carolyn Ives; and her siblings, Ralph, Stuart Howe and Arlene Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen E. Ackeret and Kenneth Ackeret (Kathy); her grandchildren, Betty Soule (Bucky), Travis Ives (Kim), John Ives (Beckie), Tanya Stewart (Chris), Jenny Jouben (John), Jason Ackeret (Hannah), Derrick Pierce, Roger Pierce (Julie) and Kathrien Walker; and her sister Vivian Peck. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
