It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Rexford Backus of Sidney, New York, born in Walton, New York, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew William and Mabel Alice Backus (Tabor). He is survived by: his son Jeremy Steinbacher (Kathy) of Waverly, NY.; and his friends, Cindy Taft (Steinbacher) of Sidney Center, NY and Ty Steinbacher of Walton, NY.. He is also survived by niece and a nephew as well as several aunts, uncles cousins.
