It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry P. Lakin of Sidney Center, New York, born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on October 21, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Philip Lakin, Sr. and Veronica Elizabeth Lakin; his siblings, Harriet Demarest, Priscilla Rutherford and Tom Lakin; and his brother-in-law Bill Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie of Sidney Center; his sons, Joseph Lakin (Julie) of Newark Valley and David Lakin (Rose) of Conklin; and his siblings, Veronica Johnston, Anne Scott (Harold), Dick Lakin (Lorie) and Betsy Jester (Bill). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Sidney Center Fire Department.
