It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy A. Smith of Shushan, New York, born in Cambridge, New York, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Cordier and H. Elizabeth Cordier (White); her husband Harley F. Smith; and her siblings, George Cordier and Helen Lathrop.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel F. Smith of Shushan, Theodore D. Smith of Hartford and Judith L. Brownell of Leesburg, FL; her grandchildren, Chelsea Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Cordell Smith, Samantha Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Jenee Smith, Zackary Wilcox and Anthony Brownell; her great grandchildren, Silas Figuero, Edison, Killian Smith, Jocelynn Brewster and Harley Brownell; her stepgrandchildren, Margaret Wilson, R. J. Wilson and Jamie Wilson; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Hayley, Joseph Porter and Douglas Walker.
