He is survived by: his mother Deneyse; his siblings, Colleen, Erin (David), Denis (Lynda), Patrick (Marijo) and Terrence (Caroline); and his daughter Cailyn (Reece). He is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yorktown Funeral Home (945 E Main St, Shrub Oak, NY 10588). A Mass was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (137 Moseman Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598).

“In the early 60"s many moved to Lakeside Village in Yorktown. My family being one of them. Our neighbors were the Murphy's. We were blessed to live, in perhaps, one of the greatest neighborhoods to blossom out of dwn county migration to Yorktown Hghts. Sean Murphy was great kid to grow up with. And to be friends with then- and throughout our later years. Today at his wake. I will remember Sean many ways. Showg him how to throw a football in the old days. But more importantly-his strength today”
