“Rocco was a lovely man; no matter when you met him he was always as glad to see you as you him. Knew Rocco from grammar school (my sister's class), the neighborhood, the schoolyard, Iona College, through his wonderful family, and, of course, the restaurant. Very funny in a low key way and together with his partner, Dominick, always got a laugh out of me especially when they were debating the odds. Sad to hear of his passing.
