We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2023, at the age of 89, Richard P. Saccomanno (Shrub Oak, New York) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard P. Saccomanno to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Nicoletta (Tiso); his son Armand; and his grandchild Richie. He is survived by: his children, Richard W., Colette F. Saccomanno, Marie Elena Conklin, Michael Saccomanno, Lorraine Long, Diane Rush and Laura MacLean. He is also survived by spouses and significant others, 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his name online to the Wounded Warrior Project, or St. Mary's Hospital for Children where a specialized program for Children with Spinal Cord Injuries was founded in 2018. These donations must be made by check to "St. Mary's Hospital for Children - Locomotor Training Program" and mailed to St. Mary's Hospital for Children Attn: Development Office, 29-01 216 Street, Bayside, NY 11360.
