It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Anthony Rooney (Shrub Oak, New York), who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Rooney and Bridget Rooney; his wife Meredith; his children, Ashley Hedtke (Garrett), Devin and Caitlin; his grandchildren, Declan and Colton Hedtke; and his siblings, Sean, Jim, Anne, Eamon and Geraldine.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Bright Focus Foundation.
