He is survived by: his children, Dr. Michael Brescia, Dr. Mark Brescia, Dr. Andrea Brescia, Monica Mekeel (Michael) and Marisa Viggiano; and his grandchildren, Dr. Sara Brescia, Haley Brescia, Presley Mekeel, Clinton Mekeel, Maggie O'Brien, Michael O'Brien, Timothy O'Brien, Sophia Viggiano and Robert Viggiano.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dr. Michael J. Brescia's name to Cavalry Hospital in Bronx New York.
