As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Helen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale Capolupo and Helen Capolupo; and her daughter Ellen Basile. She is survived by: her significant other Joseph Basile; her sister Lucille; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Hurd of Matthews and Carol (Charles Hertel) of Dutchess County. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Yorktown Funeral Home (945 E Main St, Shrub Oak, NY 10588). A Mass will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (1377 E Main St, Shrub Oak, NY 10588).
