We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2020, Richard A. Carney of Shortsville, New York, born in Manchester, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carney and Mabel VanNorman Carney; his wife Janice; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his son Richard L. Carney (Cindi Blankenberg) of Shortsville Daniel; his grandchildren, Jason Carney, Brittney Minter (David), Kaylee and Lindsay Haers; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Chappelle of Shortsville Many.

It is requested that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimers Association 435 E Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14620.
