We bid farewell to George A. Payne of Shortsville, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 13, 2024 at the age of 94. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Wheatley Payne and George H. Payne; and his daughter-in-law Cathryn Troyer Payne. He is survived by: his wife Aliene Harter Payne; his children, Roger (Lisa Rogovin Payne) of Leawood, KS, Leslie of Canandaigua, NY and Patricia of Irondequoit, NY; his grandchildren, Jordan Payne Hay (Colin), Ross Payne, Taylor Payne (Dennis Cornwell) and Jessica Cropo (Ralph); and his great grandchildren, Griffin, Tenley Hay, R. J. and Jake Cropo.
