He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Johnson and Mary Cornelia Johnson (Eberwein); and his siblings, Rita Brockleback (J. R.), Ken Johnson (Sylvia) and Glenn Johnson (Alberta).
He is survived by: his wife Susan Johnson; his children, Matt Johnson and Kristen Johnson; and his granddaughters, Estella and Kendra Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
