Alice (Doody) Appleton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice (Doody) Appleton of Shortsville, New York, born in Canandaigua, New York, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Anne Appleton; her granddaughter Olivia Appleton; her siblings, Mary Ann Peters and John Doody (Norma); her siblings-in-law, Elaine Eagley and Paul Appleton, Jr.; her friend Catherine L. Post; her husband Oliver "Pudge" Appleton; and her parents, Arthur Doody and Doris Doody (Gilligan). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, her funeral mass will be private.
