He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Topel and Daphne Ramsperger Topel; and his brother James A. Topel. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Vaisey Topel; his children, Susan Topel-Samek (Peter) of Fort Myers, FL, Anne Christner (Jim) of Brighton, NY, Robert Topel (Christine) of Penfield, NY and Mary Kay Rox of Fairport, NY.; and his grandchildren, Brian Samek, Gregory Samek (Mandi), Daphne Topel-Samek, Sarah Christner, Ashley Topel, Erin Topel, Lindsay Topel, Jordan Rox and Sean Rox.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Rita's Church (1008 Maple Dr, Webster, NY 14580). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Rita Church (1008 Maple Dr, Webster, NY 14580).
