He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Chase and Angel Gallaro Chase; his son Jonathan "Jay" Chase; his sister Gail Sherman; and his brother-in-law Donald Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lacey Chase; his sister Cindy Baxter (John) of Liverpool, NY; his children, Pattie Chase Brown (Rich) of Port Byron, NY, Jackie Mills-VanLoan (Doug), Angela Mills (Michael) and Tommy Mills, Jr. (Kathy); his grandchildren, Matthew Brown, Nicholas Brown (Krissi), Thomas Mills-Hofsdal (Bridget), Julia and Chelsea; his great grandchildren, Iziah, Ayden and Baily; his close friend Ron Hulburt; and his sister-in-law Gloria Sherburne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
