He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Herson and Lucille Herson; his sisters, Marylou Hill and Patricia Stone; his wife Shirley Joan Herson; and his children, James Matthew Herson, Jr., David Edward Herson, Kelly Ann Veit (Gaylord), Lisa Herson Snyder (Glenn) and Michael Patrick Herson. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
