With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Harold E. Chamberlain Jr. of Shirley, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Chamberlain and Gladys Chamberlain (Smith); his wife Shirley Chamberlain; his children, Linda McKinney and Carl Chamberlain; his siblings, George H. Chamberlain, Gail Harvey and Jean Hillman; his grandson Thomas Max Uzailko Jr.; and his great grandchild Maverick R. T. Raymond.
He is survived by: his children, Holly E. Uzailko, Harold E. Chamberlain, III (Karen), Dorothy Parkin (Mark), George Chamberlain (Vickie), Gladys Larson (Shawn) and Barbara Thomas (Walter); and his siblings, William "Bill" Chamberlain (Pat) and Gladys DeMarco "Ellie". He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Cortland Rural Cemetery (110 Tompkins St, Cortland, NY 13045).
