He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Palmateer and Lillie Mae Palmateer; his wife Shirley; his sons, Bruce Palmateer of Middle Grove, Barry Palmateer of Galway and Brian Palmateer (Mary Beth) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Mandi, Angela, Barry, Dan and Ben; and his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Alexis, Natalie, Jaxon and Ella. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
