He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Gadway and Ruby Gadway (Boulerice); his brothers, Francis and Leo Gadway, Jr.; his stepmother Gertrude Gadway; his sister-in-law Margaret Gadway; his son-in-law Phil Fortsch II; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald LaValley, Derrick Venne, Henry "Ronnie" Minckler, Gary Donivan and Hugh Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gadway (Venne); his children, Robyn Fortsch, Derrick and Edie Gadway; his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Kathryn, Lindsey Barnaby, Montana and Demetris Rich; and his siblings, Gerald Gadway (Marilyn), Leonard Gadway (Florence), Doris LaValley and Norma Miller.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dennis A. Gadway may be made to the H.K. Freedman Renal Center, American Heart Association, or the Mooers Fire Department.
