Annamarie H. Bender Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Annamarie H. Bender, age 63, of Shirley died Monday, October 25, 2021. Annamarie was born April 17, 1958 in Port Jefferson, NY. She is the daughter of the late Rudolph and the late Margaret (Mueller) Welenofsky.
Annamarie is survived by her loving husband Robert Wayne Bender; her furbaby Johnny Cat and her “Honey Girl” Reagan. She is also survived by her sister Linda Button and nieces Debbie, Patti and Barbara. Preceded by three Brothers Ricky, Artie and Joey. Annamarie was a
proud member of Holtsville Fire Department "Ladies Auxiliary" and a Joyful Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Guild in Middle Island, NY .
Visiting hours will be Friday, October 29, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.
A Firematic service will be held at 7:30 pm on October 29, 2021 at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.
A prayer service will be held 8:00 pm on Friday, October 29 at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY with Vicar David Santos and Rev. John Fleishmann officiating.
The funeral will be held 9:00 am on Saturday, October 30 at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home. The funeral mass will follow at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 93 Yaphank-Middle Island Rd. Middle Island, NY 11953, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Washington Memorial Park, Mount Sinai on Saturday, October 30, 2021
In lieu of flowers Annamarie's family request donations in her memory to The Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson NY or The American Cancer Society or the Cancer research Institute.
