He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Fewer and Monica Hayes Fewer; his children, Patricia Eileen, Matthew, Michael and Christopher; his great grandchild Liam Matthew Fewer; and his siblings, Ann, Jack, Loretta, Veronica, Mary and Clara.

He is survived by: his son John J. Fewer (Holly) of Sherrill; his grandchildren, Ryan Matt (Kara), Emily Fewer, Sean Fewer and Jonathan Fewer; and his great grandchildren, Harper Matt and Jaxon Matt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
