We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James R. Comber Sr. of Sherman, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood L. Comber and Mary M. Williams Comber; and his brother David Comber. He is survived by: his wife Helen Seekings Comber; his brother Gene Comber (Kathy) of Jamestown; and his siblings-in-law, Dannette Kimmy (Phil) of Erie, PA and Andy Seekings (Robin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701).
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously accepts donations to offset the funeral costs.
