With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carson John Baker of Sherman, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2024 at the age of 3. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Lawrence Baker and Donald Slaughenhaupt, Jr.; and his cousin Easton Slaughenhaupt. He is survived by: his parents, Ryan Baker and Kayla Slaughenhaupt; his sister Ava Baker; his grandparents, Jessica Grygier, Joshua Slaughenhaupt, David Baker and Sandra LaKotta; his great-grandparents, Melinda Slaughenhaupt, Christa LaKotta and Mike LaKotta; and his aunts and uncles, Gavin Didion, Gabe Didion, Amanda Evans and Savannah Palmisano.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chautauqua Humane Society (https://chqhumane.org) as an ode to Carson's love for puppies.
