It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger L. Hohenstein of Sheridan, New York, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hohenstein and Rachel Hohenstein; and his brother William Hohenstein. He is survived by: his spouse Romaine Greenough; his children, Marissa Metzger (Jeff) of Silver Creek, NY and Eric Hohenstein (Nicole) of Fredonia, NY; his grandson Gabriel Metzger; his sister Shirley Hickling (late Dan) of Fredonia, NY; and his sister-in-law Janet Hohenstein of Dayton, OH. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Roger's memory may be made to the Sheridan Volunteer Fire Department or the Sheridan VFW Post # 6390.
