It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erin Bradley Bates of Sherburne, New York, born in North Norwich, New York, who passed away on July 24, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Bates and Gaynel Bates (Ingham); and his siblings, Emily Toopes, Lucille Cole, Alice Beckwith, Georgia Brown, Dora Bates, Carol Pollock, Flora Bates, Lawrence, Byron and Robert Bates.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Bates (Jeffrey) of Sherburne; his children, Darla Maynard (Gordon) of Smyrna, Linda McCracken (Larry) of Oklahoma, Bruce Bates (Doreen) of Smyrna, Barbara Grover (James) of East Pharsalia and Bradley C. Bates (Lysa) of Sherburne; and his close friend Tyson. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins.
