It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burton Matott (Sherburne, New York), born in Champlain, New York, who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph M. Matott and Doris Turnbull Matott; his son Larry D. Matott; and his siblings, Lloyd, Leland, Owen, Clinton Matott, Joyce Durham and Wilma Matott.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa M. Hayden; his children, Burton W., Jr., Doris Matott of Norwich, James of North Norwich, Maria Matott of North Norwich, Mark of North Norwich and Tammy Matott of North Norwich; his sisters, Alaine McGill of Canton, Elaine Terry of Canton and Thelma Matott of Canton; his sister-in-law Elaine Matott of Canton; his grandchildren, Kacie, Stacey, Mary, Jackie, Dalton, Garrett, Gina, Anthony, Megan (Mat) and Sarah (Seohee); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Zoey, Kirby, Koda, James and Amber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
