She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigmund Pauls and Mertyea Thorton Pauls; her husband Donald Brokaw; her son Donald Brokaw, Jr.; and her siblings, Catherine Bush and Jerry Pauls.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Brokaw Cummings of Virginia and Catherine Brokaw of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
