Though Rita Marie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her brother Joseph. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Wormold; her sisters, Anne Haller and Maryanne; her children, Edward (Toni) and Nanette (Joseph); her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Kevin) and Jared; and her great grandchild Harper Anne.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (411 Old Town Rd, Setauket- East Setauket, NY 11733). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gerard Majella RC Church (300 Terryville Rd, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776).
