We bid farewell to Kai Yu Chui (Setauket, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 13, 2025 at the age of 96. Kai Yu touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Kai Yu farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kai Yu is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dang Sun Hu and Jun Ren Chui; and his wife Kok Ying Au-Young. He is survived by: his daughter Angela; his son-in-law Wayne; and his grandchildren, Francine and Clement.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (411 Old Town Rd, Setauket- East Setauket, NY 11733). A prayer will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider a gift to The Stony Brook School in memory of Francine and Clement Leung's grandfather Kai Yu Chui to further the nurturing of young minds.
