It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George H. Georges (Setauket, New York), who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George H. Georges to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Georges; his son William "Bill" Georges; his children-in-law, Kristina Georges and Bryan Weiss (Jamie Andrews); his grandchildren, Allie, Maddie, Christopher Weiss, Kozmo and Harry Georges; and his daughter Kathy Weiss.

In 1986, Hap received the "Long Island Distinguished Leadership Award" from Long Island Business as well as the "Good Scout Award" from the Suffolk Council of Boy Scouts of America in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the economic and cultural betterment of Long Island, and his illustrious service toward boy scouting and underserved youth.
