With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin Mitaritonna (Setauket, New York), who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabelle Vulpis and Nicholas Mitaritonna; and his siblings, Frank Mitaritonna, Barbara Minerva, Michael Mitaritonna and Angelo Mitaritonna.
He is survived by: his wife Emilia Mitaritonna; his children, Lori Colabufo (Steven), Toni Conlon (Michael), Wendy Zigon (David) and Benjamin (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Matthew (Erin), Michael (Julia), Emily (Alex), John, Owen, Benjamin, Avery, Alexa and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Emilia and Kylie.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (411 Old Town Rd, Setauket- East Setauket, NY 11733). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. James RC Church (429 NY-25A, Setauket, NY 11733). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. James Churchyard Cemetery.
