He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Ahner and Loretta Schrader Ahner; and his sister Dorothy Pattridge. He is survived by: his former wife Susan Frelier; his wife Sue; his children, Beth A. Ahner (Kirk M. Sigel) and Benjamin F. Ahner (Sandra Ahner); his grandchildren, Walter J. Sigel, Henry B. Sigel, Eiji, Aaron and Gabriel Ahner; and his siblings, Marian Limber, James (Yolanda) and Gordon Ahner (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many good friends.
