He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Butler and William Butler; his wife Gladys; and his siblings, George, John and Charlotte.
He is survived by: his children, Ted Romas (Charlotte) of Myrtle Creek, OR., Bruce Butler (Sharon) of Fulton, NY, Roger Butler (Sandra) of Sarasota, FL, Jody Rinker (Mark) of Semora, NC, Dana Simon (Jim Lana) of Ocala, FL, Colin Butler (Polly Meadows) of Hannibal, NY and Kelly Tyler of Liverpool, NY; his sister Mary Kelly of Tampa, FL; and his grandchildren, Holli Caine, Ted Butler, Nikki McDermott, Corrie Butler, Gretchen Swartz, Gwenna Ponce, Terra Cashion, Joshua Simon and Kenneth Tyler Jr.. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
