Linda Schavemaker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2021, Linda Schavemaker of Seneca Falls, New York, born in Easton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Burton and Marion F. Johnson Hofschild; and her brother George Burton Hofschild, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Poormon (Thomas) of Seneca Falls, NY, Susan Derr of Seneca Falls, NY, Joann Reasoner (James) of Phillipsburg, NJ and John Schavemaker (Crystal) of Auburn, NY; her grandchildren, Tom Poormon (Katie), Ginger Poormon, Nicole Poormon, Adelia Despaw (Matthew), Kaylee Poormon, Megan Alnutt (Brian), Kaitlynn Strausser (Blaise), Christopher Reasoner, Corissa Obed (Karl), Tyler Schavemaker (Amy) and Alexandra Schavemaker; her sisters, Doris Tarlowski of Easton, PA, Shirley Wilson of Easton, PA and Verna Bolte of Easton, PA; and her close friend John Jahna of Waterloo, NY. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Those attending calling hours MUST wear face masks and enter the funeral home through the parking lot doors and exit the funeral home through the Main St. doors. Those attending the funeral service MUST wear face masks in the church.
