He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Peterson and Joyce; his siblings-in-law, Romaine, Genevieve Platten, Donnie and Connie Peterson; his niece Karen Peterson; his nephew Chuckie Peterson; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Post.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce G. Peterson; his sons, Bob (Kitty) and Jim Peterson (LeeAnn); and his grandchildren, Becky Spano (Nate), Marie Peterson (Kim), Josh Peterson (Christine), Jeremy Peterson (Tara) and Christopher Plate. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
