She was predeceased by: her parents, Romayne Platten and Genevieve Platten (Young); her sister Eleanor Post; her parents-in-law, Cornelia and Howard Peterson; her siblings-in-law, Connie and Donald Peterson; her niece Kim Peterson; and her nephew Chuckie Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence "Pete" Peterson; her sons, Bob Peterson (Kitty) and Jim Peterson (LeeAnn); her brother-in-law Carl Post; her grandchildren, Becky Spano (Nate), Marie Peterson (Kim), Joshua Peterson (Christine), Jeremy Peterson (Tara) and Christopher Plate; her great grandchildren, Cyrus, Emma, Joshua, Ethan, Aaron, Gabe and Khloe; and her caregivers, Terry, Jenn, Holly, Julia, Kim, Hannah and Jessica. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
