She was predeceased by: her parents, Narzetti Nicandri and Adele Nicandri (Rossi); her husband Jesse Parete, Sr.; and her siblings, Rudolph Nicandri (Camilla), Amelio Nicandri (Armeda), Guido Nicandri (Mary), Dino Nicandri (Vera), Ferdinand Nicandri (June), Carlo Nicandri (Katherine) and Pasquina Acquilano (Daniel).
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Parete, Jr. (Carol) of Vandalia and Mary Ann Leeper (Jeffrey) of Tega Cay; her grandchildren, Suzanne Koon (Tim), Monika Painter (Chad), Matthew Leeper (Stephanie) and Brian Leeper (Meghan); and her stepgrandchildren, Kevin Gudorf (Cintia), David Gudorf (Sara), Heather Maleszewski (Jesse) and Heidi Spearman (Adam). She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
