He is survived by: his children, John Van Tassel (Tammy) and Suzan Van Tassel; his grandchildren, Amanda Van Tassel (Rick), Andrea Van Tassel (Lucas Fegley), Samantha and Garrett Vermeulen; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Tanner, Riley Reed and Gavin Jacobsen.
