He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl P. and Janet Huff Uerkvitz; his wife Cynthia; and his brother Donald P. Uerkvitz. He is survived by: his sons, James C. Uerkvitz, II of Seneca Falls, NY and Richard Uerkvitz (Kerry) of Suwanee, GA; his grandchildren, Jesse Uerkvitz, Cameron Uerkvitz and Garrett Uerkvitz; his siblings, Linda Darling of Waterloo, NY, Alan Uerkvitz of Cameron, WV and Robert Uerkvitz (Linda Sue) of Rochester, NY; and his sister-in-law Betty Uerkvitz of Waterloo, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
