She was predeceased by: her husband Abraham J. Verkey; and her brothers, Donald, Daniel, Richard Johnson, John Verkey and Ronald Burcroff.

She is survived by: her parents, Edward Johnson and Leona Phillips Johnson; her children, Joanne Woodard (William) of Waterloo, Rodney (Charlene) of Tyre, Donald (Patti) of Plattsburg, Garry of Tyre and Dennis (Mellisa) of Seneca Falls; her sisters, Dorothy Johnson (Kenneth) of Sodus, Virginia DeFisher of Sodus and Marian Fletcher (George) of Clyde; her grandchildren, Jason, Matthew (Jodie), Andrew (Kimmy), Christopher (Megan), Samantha Trudeau (Adam), Michael Woodard, Nicholas Woodard, Dylan, Derik, Devin and Mackenzie Verkey; her great grandchildren, Jason, Hayley, Ashlee, Madelyne, Peyton, Brielle, Ayla, Lexi, Gianna and Gabriella; her great great grandchild Jacob; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Burcroff, Doris Johnson and Dolores Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
