He was predeceased by: his son Toby Mahoney; his brother Donald Mahoney; and his son-in-law Rick Thurston. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rearson Mahoney; and his children, Meaghan Cologgi (Paul), Amanda Young (Bradley), Molly Thurston, Maggie Mahoney and Justin Mahoney (Larraine).
