He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kuryla and Catherine Kuryla (Woods); and his wife Mary Short. He is survived by: his son James Kuryla; his grandson Samuel J. Kuryla; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Short. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
