She is survived by: her mother Ruth Jacobs (Doblin); her husband Allen Kaplan; her sister Sara Wolpin; her children, Nancy (Kevin Wolken), David Kaplan (Danielle) and Anita Kaplan (Noah Fiedel); and her grandchildren, Madelaine, Mallory, Sam, Jack and Leo.

“Helen was a very special friend to me! We spent ever Tuesday together cleaning her ever so clean house! Anyone who knew Helen knew how particular she was about keeping her house tidy! I admired that the most about her and enjoyed ever week helping her. Moby kept us both on our toes! Mr. Bark a lot! He was her side kick and she enjoyed taking him on long walks! My deepest condolences to the family. I am really gonna miss her❤️”
